Product details
A true lightweight - the Joker 9.1 mm from Beal is always used when every gram counts. This single rope has a diameter of 9.1 mm and a weight of just 52 grams per meter. It is perfect for demanding alpine tours where the weight carried can determine success. The lightweight single rope also proves itself during redpoint and onsight ascents in high difficulty levels.
In addition to its certification as a single rope, the Joker 9.1 mm is also approved as a twin or half rope. This provides maximum safety in alpine tours and trad climbing.
However, the Joker 9.1 mm is clearly intended for advanced climbers. The small diameter of the rope requires a lot of experience in belaying. Care must also be taken when lowering and rappelling due to the small diameter.
The Dry Cover treatment impregnates the rope sheath and makes it dirt-repellent, which increases the product's lifespan. Beal's Unicore technology ensures a better connection between the rope sheath and core, minimizing sheath movement. Versatile and extremely lightweight - the Joker 9.1 mm is just right for all professionals.
