Baby Heron (Vajra) Flight Deck 8.4"

Powell-Peralta is proud to introduce the new Baby Heron Vajra deck by Andy Anderson. It is the culmination of over a decade of evolutionary, performance-oriented design modifications that make this new all-terrain deck easier to ride, flip, and pop than traditional "popsicle" designs that have remained unchanged for thirty years. Andy focused on making every aspect of his skateboard functional and easy to ride, designing it to adapt to the personal, performance-enhancing shape of each skater. Ten prototypes of Andy's 3rd generation Vajra deck were needed to achieve this perfection. With the incredible strength of the Flight Deck construction, the Vajra is durable and meets the demands of modern skating. Flight Decks are: thinner - as thin as your phone, stronger - more than twice as strong in our tail break tests, more durable - the epoxy resin-soaked, fiber-reinforced structure of the Flight Deck is extremely shatterproof, and this structure gives them an "eternal pop" that doesn't fade as your deck wears down. Ollies are higher because they have more rebound and snap. Team tests have shown that Flight Decks last many times longer than 7-ply skateboards, making them not only cost-effective but also particularly high-performing.
