In combed cotton, the fibers are brushed to extend them and make the fabric even softer, resulting in better quality. Socks made from combed cotton are significantly softer and provide higher wearing comfort. The friction-prone areas are thicker to avoid heat buildup in the shoe.

The socks have been recently revised for improved resilience and longer durability. The toe, heel, and sole are reinforced by wrapping the main cotton thread with a more durable nylon thread. These Artengo tennis socks have a short shaft and feature a small padding at the top of the heel to enhance comfort and prevent rubbing and skin irritation. This is known as the "Edge" system, and in tennis shoes, this padding is almost invisible.

The material contains elastane, which makes the sock more elastic and ensures a better fit on the foot. The socks may appear smaller, but this is merely due to the higher elasticity. They are also particularly resistant to washing.

A rubber band has been placed in the midfoot to provide better support—it's not noticeable on the foot and does not restrict blood circulation.
