Combed cotton fibers are brushed to lengthen them and make the fabric even softer, resulting in better quality. Socks made from combed cotton are significantly softer and offer increased wearing comfort.

The friction-prone areas are slightly thicker to prevent heat buildup in the shoe. The socks have recently been updated for greater resistance and longer durability.

The toe, heel, and sole are reinforced by wrapping the main wool thread with a more durable polyamide thread. These Artengo tennis socks have a short shaft and feature a small cushioning at the heel to enhance comfort and prevent chafing and skin irritation, known as the "Edge" system. This cushioning is nearly invisible in tennis shoes.

The material contains elastane, which makes the sock more elastic and allows it to fit better on the foot. They may appear smaller, but this is simply due to the higher elasticity. Additionally, they are particularly resistant to washing.

A rubber band is placed at the midfoot to ensure better support. However, it is not noticeable on the foot and does not restrict blood circulation.
