Surf Skate Arbor Carver x Tyler Warren 29" 2022 - Complete Shaper Series:

When we started making skateboards in the mid-90s, it was nearly impossible to find a high-quality standard truck with a wide hanger. We eventually turned to a small company that cast trucks locally. That company was Carver, and we are proud to call them friends for almost 25 years. As we began to explore the idea of diving into the surf skate world and focusing on sustainable materials and natural woods, there was no question that we would once again rely on our friends at Carver for the trucks. We couldn't be prouder to collaborate with them. Carver has pioneered the movement and continues to lead the way in terms of performance and quality.

To connect the unique heritage of Arbor and Carver, as well as the tradition of surfboard shaping that inspires much of what we both do, we collaborated with two of today's most innovative shapers on the design of this new offering. Each brought their own vision for form and aesthetics to this ultra-collaborative project, which we call the Shaper Series.

Tyler Warren is known for his wide range of fast, responsive shapes that come straight out of the box. Tyler is a bit of a prodigy, having been shaping since he was 14, and over the years he has developed a process influenced by a variety of factors, years as a sponsored freesurfer, and his training as an artist. The Tyler Warren is based on Tyler's Soap Shape and is designed to be a fast, loose, agile skateboard for tight turns and quick riding.
