The Aqualung Express Adj fin represents the successor model of the Express series, now available in an open heel configuration designed for diving enthusiasts. This fin combines comfort, power, and efficiency through advanced material technology and ergonomic design. It operates on the same hydrodynamic principle as established models like the Slingshot and Hotshot fins and features the patented Express Armadillo System. This extended membrane, made from ultra-elastic rubber, collects elastic energy during the downward stroke and returns power at the end of each swimming movement. The Armadillo component bridges the gap between the front foot pocket and the rear blade, eliminating flow interruptions caused by the fin structure. The blade extends continuously into the mid-foot area of the foot pocket, preventing overstretching that can lead to toe and ankle cramps. The foot pocket integrates zones of varying thickness to ensure an optimal connection between the foot and blade for maximum energy transfer. Rubber side ribs direct water along the length of the fin while minimizing overflow effects. The ESB ergonomic strap and buckle system features marked pressure and release buttons that remain easy to operate even when wearing thick diving gloves.
