The Aqualung Express Adj Open-Heel Fin embodies advanced fin technology with a focus on comfort, power, and swimming efficiency. This successor model to the earlier Express fins operates on similar principles as the popular Slingshot and Hotshot models and features the innovative Express Armadillo System. This patented extended membrane made of ultra-elastic rubber collects elastic energy during the downward stroke and releases that power at the end of each swimming motion. The Armadillo System effectively bridges the gap between the foot area in front and the fin blade in the back, eliminating disruptions in water flow through the fin. The blade extends continuously into the foot area to the midfoot zone, preventing overstretching of toes and ankles that can lead to cramps. The foot area design prioritizes comfort while integrating zones of varying thickness that optimize the foot's connection to the fin blade for maximum energy transfer. Rubber side ribs direct water along the length of the fin and minimize overflow effects. The fin incorporates the ESB ergonomic strap and buckle system with prominent pressure and release buttons that remain easy to operate even with thick gloves. Available in Hot Lime color with a plastic construction, this model fits foot sizes 35-39. The open-heel configuration offers versatile fitting options for various diving conditions and shoe combinations.
