In English, Gems means gemstone. The Alpina Gems is the freeride jewel: unique, light and valuable - a piece of jewellery for the head. A particularly striking feature of the Gems is the scattered pattern of perforations, which enables ventilation over a wide area. This feature is ideal for all freeriders on sweaty climbs or in sunny mountain weather. Of course, the active ventilation can also be operated with gloves. Additional protection in the backcountry is provided by the deep cover at the back of the head and the hybrid shell construction, which also distributes the force of impacting objects.
