In English, Gems means gemstone. The ALPINA GEMS is our freeride gem: unique, light and valuable - a jewel for the head. Particularly striking on the GEMS is the scattered perforated pattern structure, which allows ventilation over a wide area. On sweaty climbs or sunny mountain weather, this feature comes in handy for all freeriders. Of course, the active ventilation can also be operated with gloves. Additional protection in the backcountry is provided by the deep coverage at the back of the head and the hybrid shell construction, which additionally distributes the force of impacting objects.
