In English, "Gems" means gemstone. The Alpina Gems is our freeride gem: unique, lightweight, and valuable – a true treasure for the head. What stands out about the Gems is its scattered hole pattern structure, which allows for effective ventilation and air circulation. This feature is particularly beneficial for freeriders during sweaty ascents or on sunny mountain days. Of course, the active ventilation can also be operated while wearing gloves. For added protection in the backcountry, the deep coverage at the back of the head and the hybrid shell construction help to distribute the impact forces from any objects that may hit.
