In English, "Gems" means gemstone. The Alpina Gems is our freeride gem: unique, lightweight, and valuable – a true treasure for the head. Particularly striking about the Gems is its scattered hole pattern structure, which allows for effective ventilation and airflow. This feature is beneficial for all freeriders during sweaty ascents or sunny mountain weather. Of course, the active ventilation can also be operated while wearing gloves. For added protection in the backcountry, the deep coverage at the back of the head and the hybrid shell construction help to distribute the impact from incoming objects.
