The ACE AF1 Hollow Inverted Truck features an inverted kingpin system to enhance grind clearance. The design is based on a stabilized anchor point for the kingpin, as well as hollow axle pins and a curved baseplate for weight reduction. The component is made from an AA 356.2 aluminum alloy using a specific casting process. The hanger and baseplate are T6 heat-treated. The axle pins made from SAE 4140 steel alloy are oversized to minimize bearing play. Self-cutting axle nuts allow for the correction of thread damage. Hand-cast pivot bushings made from 96a urethane and a customized suspension determine the steering behavior. The package includes two magnetic adapter tools for assembly.
