should the piston/sieve holder be clamped in the brew group when the machine is switched off? When the machine is in standby, I leave the piston in so that the portafilter doesn't lose heat. But does it make a difference (regarding the brew group, sealing ring...) when the machine is switched off?
I always take the portafilter out of the machine. If it stays in, it doesn't turn itself off and keeps heating up.
