I have started the descaling programme for the second time and it has been running for over an hour and does not finish. What can I do so that it completes and the calco clean no longer lights up?

Try hot water and the descaling agent. That helped last time. Use TurMix from Köenig cleaning tablets from time to time. I hope I was able to help.
