How long does the battery last? Does anyone have experience?

I have had this scale since 15.05.2016 and have never had to change the battery.
The same battery for 2.5 years!
We have had the scale since the beginning of 2015 and have never changed the battery.
I have had this scale for a few years, but I rarely need it. As far as I know, I have never changed the battery.
