Question about De'Longhi Magnifica S

Hello! A question about this coffee machine: "Does the machine recognise when the water is no longer enough for a whole cup of coffee? So, is the last cup always full? That was always the case with the machines we had before, but unfortunately it's not the case with the one we now (still) have. It just keeps going, even with too little water, and when there isn't enough, it logically stops and the cup is only half full, or even less. It's a pity about the ground coffee. Thanks for an answer!
