Building on the Cube 2.0, it offers even more intuitive operation, more reliable data performance and maximum control during brewing. Thanks to the improved solid-liquid detection system and automatic timer, the scale accurately tracks the pouring and extraction phases. A new feature is the live visualisation of the flow rate for reproducible results. Three specialised modes cover every brewing scenario. Manual mode offers full control over time and weight. Smart mode for pour-over automatically detects the brew, displays the flow rate in real time and, once brewing is complete, summarises the time, water volume, ground coffee and brew ratio. In Smart Mode for espresso, the timer and measurement start from the first drop; once the cup is removed, the time, liquid weight and extraction ratio are displayed. The optimised touch logic with anti-interference protection prevents accidental resets when handling the dripper or portafilter. Smart features round off the user experience: thanks to a gravity sensor, the scales switch on automatically when weight is placed on them and tare immediately. The memory function retains the last mode, whilst button tones can be muted. The sensor measures to an accuracy of 0.1 grammes with a capacity ranging from 0.3 to 2,000 grammes. With tamping, the coffee grounds in the portafilter are compacted to create a firm and even coffee puck with a smooth and level surface. Proper tamping avoids channeling and ensures uniform extraction of all the coffee grounds, allowing all the flavor compounds to be extracted from the coffee. This is a pressure-regulated tamper with a preset pressure of approximately 14 kg. When the preset pressure is reached, a mechanical signal sounds as feedback, and the tamper releases the pressure. After several tests, MHW 3Bomber found that at a constant pressure of about 14 kg, the extraction rate remains nearly the same across different amounts of coffee grounds and extraction times. The outer ring, which rests flat on the portafilter, ensures that the tamper is always pressed straight down. The tamper is simply placed on top and pressed down, with the spring pulling the base back up. This tamper fits perfectly on 58 mm portafilters. Through repeated tests, MHW 3Bomber determined that 58.35 mm is the ideal size for leveling tools and tampers. These fit precisely into 58 mm portafilters and reduce coffee ground waste. The tamper features an ergonomic handle that feels comfortable in the hand. Additionally, the base is equipped with concentric grooves, allowing more coffee grounds to come into contact with the water, leading to better extraction. The entire tamper is made from high-quality materials. The handle is crafted from solid walnut wood, the middle section is made of an aluminum alloy, and the base and spring are made of stainless steel. The entire tamper is disassemblable, making it easy to clean. With this tamper, perfect coffee extraction can be achieved when used correctly.

The magnetic dosing ring is placed on the portafilter and significantly reduces the scattering of coffee grounds when grinding directly into the portafilter. It is particularly helpful with statically charged grounds.
Even when the coffee grounds are distributed with a needling tool, the ring greatly minimizes spillage. Additionally, 10 small magnets are embedded in the ring to ensure it adheres and does not slip.
What makes this dosing ring special is that it allows for dosing coffee grounds over a larger area. The contact surface is approximately 10% larger than that of standard dosing rings. This dosing ring fits perfectly on 58 mm portafilters.
