The height of the leveling tool can be adjusted by turning the handle and the middle section. It is recommended to adjust the height of the tool according to the amount of coffee grounds to achieve the smoothest surface possible.

This leveling tool fits perfectly on 53 mm portafilters. Through repeated testing, MHW 3Bomber has determined that 53.35 mm is the ideal size for leveling tools and tampers. These fit precisely into 53 mm portafilters and minimize coffee ground waste.

The entire leveling tool is made from high-quality materials. The handle and middle section are made from an aluminum alloy, while the base is made of stainless steel. The handle features an anti-slip coating for better grip, and the base has four paddles for very even distribution. The entire tool is disassemblable, making it easy to clean.
