Product details

The thermal carafe designed by Danish designer Erik Magnussen for the company Stelton in 1977 is something of an icon of modern design. Everyone knows it, and those of us who own it appreciate the carafe for its beautiful, timeless, and compact design, as well as its unique tilt lid. It’s worth mentioning that this thermal carafe is featured in almost every design museum in the world. The modern design of Erik Magnussen's classic thermal carafe is now available with a new function. With a few technical modifications, the carafe has been transformed into a modern coffee maker. Simply fill the carafe with freshly ground coffee, add hot water, and serve your coffee directly at the table. You can decide when the coffee has steeped enough by simply pressing down the plunger. To serve, just twist off the lid and pour the steaming, aromatic coffee into your cup. The plunger of the coffee maker can be cleaned in the dishwasher, while the carafe should be cleaned by hand.
