Its designer, Søren Refsgaard, is known for his clear, functional designs that eliminate everything superfluous. Brus is a particularly good example of this. The design incorporates the classic cylindrical shapes that are characteristic of Stelton's designs. The cylindrical shape is primarily reflected in the ultra-flat container for the carbon dioxide cartridge and is also found in the carbonation button. This button is intuitively turned clockwise to regulate the amount of carbonation and counterclockwise to release the pressure with a hissing sound before the bottle is removed from the device.
