Peer Gynt has been on the market since 1938. Thanks to its special structure, the yarn is ideal for knitting jumpers. Peer Gynt is just as popular today as it was back then. In autumn 2022, we launched a thinner version of the exact same yarn with the same great properties. Garments made from Norwegian wool feel light and warm. They become even softer after each wear. Norwegian wool is hard-wearing and pilling-resistant. It ensures that the garments always look good and keep their shape for a long time. Take care of the environment: wool is breathable and rarely needs to be washed. Instead, we recommend airing the garment well. Garments made from Norwegian wool have a long lifespan. They also retain their beauty over several generations. This means that Norwegian wool articles contribute to sustainable consumption. Peer Gynt and Tynn Peer Gynt use the same fibre and are produced in different thicknesses - Tynn Peer Gynt is 3-ply twisted and Peer Gynt 4-ply. There is an instruction booklet for Tynn Peer Gynt by Sandnes Garn, No. 2212.
