Merino wool is not only excellent at insulating warmth, but it also wicks moisture away from the body due to the structure of its fibers and retains heat even when damp. Merino wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in water before it feels wet.

The yarn is superwash treated, allowing it to withstand frequent machine washing.

Our suppliers guarantee that our wool does not come from sheep that have been subjected to mulesing.

Due to the absorbent properties of Merino wool combined with the superwash treatment, we recommend washing the garment separately on a wool program for the gentlest care. For the same reason, it is important to spin the item gently and then dry it flat, preferably lying on a towel. Never wash hand-knitted items in a laundry net, as this can cause friction that may lead to felting.
