Merino wool is not only excellent at insulating heat, but it also wicks moisture away from the body due to the structure of its fibers and retains warmth even when damp. Merino wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in water before it feels wet.

The yarn is superwash treated, making it resistant to frequent machine washing.

Our suppliers guarantee that our wool does not come from sheep that have been subjected to mulesing.

Due to the absorbent properties of Merino wool combined with the superwash treatment, we recommend washing the garment separately on a wool program for the gentlest care. For the same reason, it is important to spin the item gently and then dry it flat, preferably lying on a towel. Never wash hand-knitted items in a laundry bag, as this can create friction that may cause the item to felt.
