Yes, you can, but only via the Latte Macchiatto or Cappucino diversions and then press the start button again when the coffee starts. Then no coffee comes out and you can enjoy the milk foam. Important: set the coffee to ground before starting, then no beans are needed.

Yes, this is possible via a diversion. I did it as follows: select cappuccino - press the aroma strength button for 3 sec. on ground coffee - and then start - the milk is dispensed - then press the stop button - done. If the cappuccino is selected normally, the beans are ground first.

I really don't know which machine is newer or what the difference is. I bought the 3200 and I am very happy with the product. We use it in a small bistro.
The brewing temperature can be preselected in 3 levels. The milk foam is also at the right temperature. Of the 4 fully automatic coffee machines I have bought so far, this is clearly the best.
