Question was not for this product... please delete! :)
I also noticed this at the beginning. But since I cleaned it once, used lime-free water and replaced the sealing ring every six months or so, the problem has been solved. By the way, you can buy a sealing ring cheaply at a DIY store (Bern e.g. Gobag).
We also operate this Piccola in the caravan with a 1000W inverter. Runs without any problems. I bought this machine precisely because of its low wattage consumption. Does the machine you bought have a fault?!
Unfortunately not, I sometimes forget to switch off the machine, it's always hot.

1. it is a glass container. 2. no, you stop manually.
I am well aware that there may be delays in delivery during this not-so-easy time. But this is already a bit long. Sorry Galaxus! I am otherwise satisfied with your delivery times.
With these so-called inverters, you must not dimension them too tightly, especially for devices that call up this maximum power for minutes or even longer. Often there is also the question of what kind of nice round sine wave a certain device requires, which the inverter may not generate at all, but instead spits out a rather rough square wave (perhaps one reason why a demand of 640W instead of 500W presents itself?) My personal measurements of the coffee machine have shown that it consumes pretty much exactly the specified 500W for heating. Once the operating temperature is reached, the 500W is only used intermittently to maintain it. If you let out a coffee, around just under 60W is needed (for this), for the pump. So the maximum power for me is 560W in each case. So much for my measurements in my cosy kitchen with brand-new electrical installation. In a motorhome (I know the same problem in sailing yachts), the above-mentioned effects or similar can be added.
May I ask where it costs only "slightly" more ? After the 2nd time "the supplier has exceeded the deadline" since my order on 1.6.2020, I am also thinking about an alternative order.
Hi, the machine is for E.S.E. pads. Greetings
E.S.E. in Switzerland are mostly the 44 mm pads. The machine is compatible: https://www.kaffeepads.ch/product_info.php/info/p283_La-Piccola-Piccola-Kaffeemaschine---Inox-Satiniert.html
It is matt
I received mine last week after only 3 working days.... Strange?
That is correct, have been using the machine for 2 years now without any problems, great design and very space saving!
For a current order, the expected delivery date is in 5-7 days (no guarantee).
