Unfortunately, we do not offer any spare parts for this portafilter machine in our range. I would recommend that you contact the manufacturer directly, they will certainly be able to help you.

Aside from a technical defect, that would happen if you either don‘t add enough coffee, or the grind setting is too coarse. I have the grinder on mine on 3 for coarseness and and the fill level at appx. ⅔. That works just fine for most of the beans I use.

I have had completely different experiences with them so far: Zero defects, only joy. And I've been using it every day since I bought it 3 years ago. The only thing that requires a bit of finesse and experimentation is the right grind setting for the beans (reason: I change the coffee types more often than my shirts ;)

I had the same problem, but if you let the cycle finish completely, it's all good afterwards. The cycle lasts a really long time (at least 2 hours if I'm not mistaken).

Is this model the new 3.0 generation?

Yes, this product is the new product. For me, this portafilter is amazing. I have tried different types of coffee. I'm sticking with Badilatti, Switzerland's highest roasting company in Zuoz. It fits perfectly with the portafilter.

Since De'Longhi launched the La Specialista Maestro, they have been selling the La Specialista model in an improved form under the name La Specialista Prestigio in a lower price segment. New features include two additional grinds, Dynamic Pre-Infusion, three temperature settings and a steam lance for My LatteArt.

I don't quite understand why you can't read off the grind, there is a scale printed on it.... I also wonder what kind of beans are used. Depending on the beans, I can only use level 3 at most, otherwise the pressure goes to the limit. The tamper works very well for me. I always tamp 2 times and turn the piston with the lever pulled. I've had the machine repaired 2 times because of pressure problems. The first time, no fault was found by the service centre, although it was obvious. Unfortunately, Kenwod's repair service is no good and you always have to exert a lot of pressure to get things running.
