I use the Allessi coffee maker on a glass-ceramic cooker as well as on the old iron plate cooker. Works perfectly. It is probably not designed for induction cookers.

The diameter (3T) is just under 10cm, (6T) a good 11cm. The product not only looks good, it performs well. They all work on our Miele induction cooker. Never had a problem on electrolux induction either. Even as a single person, my choice would be 6T, varying at most with the amount of water and the amount of coffee powder.
