All Nesmuk wooden boards are made with the utmost care from the heartwood of German oak - the heartwood is the oldest and most valuable part of a trunk. The individual strips are selected by hand and joined together to form the characteristic pattern. Thanks to its high content of natural tannic acid, oak wood is naturally antibacterial and meets high hygiene standards. Nesmuk uses screwed-on rubber feet in the production of the holder for slip resistance and a secure hold on all work surfaces. The cutting board has a generously sized juice channel that is very easy to clean. In addition, the groove is deliberately only incorporated on two sides so that food can be easily wiped over the smooth surface, e.g. directly onto a plate that fits easily into the extra-wide recessed grips.
