Nesmuk Janus

Nesmuk Janus – unmistakable with its black blade – is made from a high-performance steel with niobium content and is refined with a high-quality diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating that optimizes the functional properties of the blade. The narrow, 160 mm long blade of the slicer is ideal for filleting. It is perfect for all fine tasks, such as trimming meat, filleting fish and meat, or slicing vegetables and fruits. It is also excellent for cutting bacon, ham, etc., into very thin slices. The extremely thin and narrow blade ensures the necessary flexibility to make and execute very fine cuts precisely. The low friction values of the DLC coating support even the finest cutting guidance. The ergonomically perfectly shaped handle fits optimally in the hand, providing the secure handling needed for the finest filleting and slicing. Moor oak is not a distinct type of wood: it actually consists of sub-fossilized oak trunks, up to 5,000 years old, that have been found in northern German moors and waters. When such a trunk is discovered and recovered from a bog, it must first be dried in a complex drying process that takes several years before it can be processed. The color varies between brownish and bluish black tones.
