Product details

The Shotoh is a "small knife" and is suitable for cutting, peeling and garnishing fruit and vegetables. Besides the Santoku, this is the most sold blade shape in Japan.

The twin Miyabi 4000 FC Shotoh has a 14 cm blade. This noble and easy-grip knife is the perfect introduction to the world of Japanese cooking tools. The particularly sharp blades of the eight knives in the MIYABI 4000 FC series are made of one piece of FC61 steel.
FC means fine carbide and refers to a steel made of particularly fine and uniform chemical carbide compounds. With a sharpness of 61 Rockwell, the blade is not only extremely sharp, but also particularly robust and durable.
The octagonal handle made of pakka wood with a natural look ensures that the hand is optimally non-slip. A special highlight is the stylish mosaic pin, which is embedded in the handle.
