Matcha Passion Kusenaoshi

Unfortunately, your match brush is a consumable item. With regular use, the bristles, which are bent at the beginning, will stretch out further and further. Straight bristles on a chasen make whisking matcha tea considerably more difficult. By using a whisk holder (kusenaoshi), the bristles stay in shape and you can significantly increase the lifespan of your bamboo whisk. The chasen should also be washed out after use and left to dry on the whisk holder in a well-ventilated place. This prevents mould from forming.
