Georg Jensen - Bernadotte Thermos Flask, 0.8 l

In 1938, he designed an elegant milk jug made of sterling silver with a distinctive design that served as inspiration for a new thermos flask. Although the design of the thermos flask is 65 years old, it still appears extremely contemporary. Prince Sigvard Bernadotte was captivated by the same functionalism that still plays a significant role in modern design today, without ever losing sight of visual beauty. The large Bernadotte thermos flask was introduced in 2002, and a second, smaller version will be launched in the autumn of 2011. This second thermos flask is closer to the original design and has a capacity of 0.8 l.

The thermos flask keeps beverages hot for at least 6 hours.

As of October 2020, the Bernadotte thermos flask 0.8 l features a modified closure with a smoother thread and a practical push function.
