The 18 cm olive santoku knife from Forged is the Japanese version of the chef's knife. The word "santoku" means "three virtues", a reference to the three cutting functions that the knife offers: Slicing, dicing and chopping. This versatility makes it an all-rounder in the kitchen. Forged's Olive knives are made from Japanese 440C steel with a hardness of 58 Rockwell. All knives from Forged are forged by hand, have a blade thickness of 2 mm and a cutting angle of 18 degrees. The 18 cm Olive Santoku knife is packaged in a luxurious wooden box and comes with a 10-year guarantee. Also available in a 14 cm version.
