A modern Quattro Stagioni glass from Italy, airtight and equipped with a double-layer, ultra-fine stainless steel filter insert – the BrewJar for cold brew coffee is ready. Cold brew coffee has a fruity-sweet taste, is very digestible, and contains a lot of natural caffeine. By using cold water instead of hot, more flavors are extracted while reducing acidity and bitterness. The BrewJar was designed by the creators of the Dripster in Hamburg. The custom-made two-layer filter reliably removes even the smallest coffee particles from the cold brew coffee. The filter is extra large and holds 150 g of coffee, allowing for strong cold brew or even a concentrate to be made. The Quattro Stagioni glass is a proven classic made in Italy. The filter insert is made of durable stainless steel. The glass seals airtight – even with the filter inserted. This keeps the cold brew coffee fresh for an extended period and makes it easy to store. All parts are easy to clean and dishwasher safe. The included filter is well thought out and delivers better results than simply placing loose coffee grounds in a jar and filtering them afterward. The size of the filter ensures that the coffee grounds are optimally surrounded by water, providing a larger contact surface. Compared to the makeshift solution of using a French press for cold brew, the BrewJar offers advantages, as the filter mesh is much finer, preventing a cloudy brew. Additionally, the glass is completely sealed, allowing for occasional shaking as explained in the included instructions. For the best results, please use only fresh, medium-roasted, and coarsely ground coffee. Let it steep in the refrigerator for 16 to 24 hours, depending on your taste, then remove the filter and let it drain. The cold brew can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
