With its coloured felt balls, the Lana trivet protects tabletops and surfaces from heat and scratches. And it does even more. With Lana, CILIO is supporting a social project in Nepal. Women near Kathmandu make the coasters by hand according to an old tradition. The eco-balance is also right: The heat-resistant, washable sheep's wool is treated with azo-free dyes. Fair trade criteria are adhered to along the entire production chain. The project is certified by the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO). By the way: the coaster is also great for giving as a fair trade gift.
