Bodum's traditional borosilicate glass contains no lead and has a brilliance like no other industrially manufactured glass. The jar is sealed with a thin, removable silicone gasket to keep it tight for safe storage. The ultimate storage jar will not absorb aromas and any purified smells from a previously stored tea, coffee or herb will disappear.
