Björn Genesis

Typically referred to as a bread plate, this small plate features a raised center and slightly sloped edges. It is appreciated from appetizers to desserts, including cheese. Each piece has a unique color gradient that harmonizes perfectly with its similar counterparts. After an initial low-temperature firing of the clay, reactive glazes in various colors are applied to the stoneware, giving it a distinctive and radiant relief texture. The appearance of color nuances that vary from piece to piece is the result of an artistic blend of artisanal firing techniques and glaze application. The Genesis collection is inspired by journeys between land and sea. In its Terre variation, a blue-grey-khaki gradient reminiscent of earth layers emerges. Its asymmetrical lines and clear cuts lend it character and authenticity.
