Björn Genesis

Commonly known as a bread plate, this small dish features a slightly raised center and gently sloped edges. It is appreciated for serving everything from appetizers to desserts, including cheese. Each piece boasts a unique color gradient that harmonizes perfectly with its counterparts. After an initial low-temperature firing of the clay, reactive glazes in various colors are applied to the stoneware, giving it a distinctive and radiant relief texture. The appearance of color nuances that vary from piece to piece is the result of an artistic blend of handcrafted firing techniques and glaze application. The Genesis collection is inspired by journeys between land and sea. In its Sea variation, a blue gradient reminiscent of the spray of waves emerges. Its asymmetric lines and clear cuts lend it character and authenticity.
