The Plisse toaster, designed by Michele De Lucchi, combines functional aspects with a plastic and fascinating design that reveals the author's training as an architect as well as his passion for craftsmanship and sculpture. Like a fabric transformed into a three-dimensional object by a dense fold, this toaster resembles a haute couture suit, a magnificent object that remains unapologetically in view on a kitchen counter. The various browning levels can be easily adjusted with the corresponding button. The heating function allows the bread to be brought back to the desired temperature within 30 seconds. The defrost function can thaw the bread before it is toasted. The "Bagel" function heats only one side of the bread. The stop function automatically ejects the container with the bread. The cord is integrated: after use, it can be rolled up under the bottom of the toaster. The base is non-slip, ensuring safe use. It is easy to clean. It is recommended to clean the tongs under running water with non-abrasive soap. The crumb tray can be easily pulled out like a drawer. The Plisse toast tongs are sold separately.
