My cat is chipped by default. Unfortunately, it does not work with the registration of the chip. Hi, so one of our cats won't let me hold him down much or anything. I pressed the button briefly, and then pressed and held it again and pushed the cat into the flap as slowly as I could. He granted like hell, but it flashed pretty quickly. And from then on he could get in and out without any problems. Changing the battery is no problem either. Someone once wrote that you have to re-register the cats after each change. That is not true. I have already changed the batteries twice and it still works.
