Very picky eating habits
The Chihuahua's diet is often characterized by frequent changes in food (home-cooked meals, canned food, treats, etc.). They quickly become accustomed to a varied diet and can be very selective about their food choices. Therefore, it is essential that the food has a particularly high acceptance level for Chihuahuas, as they also have a relatively underdeveloped sense of smell compared to larger dogs.
