Special nutritional needs due to specific characteristics

• Due to the unique head shape with a short facial section and slight overbite (brachycephalic type), the pug has a special technique for food intake.
• A sensitive skin with numerous folds that can trap moisture and heat.
• A strong tongue, a long soft palate, and a short nose can make breathing difficult for the pug. Therefore, additional respiratory strain due to overweight should be avoided.

Brachycephalic head shape
A specially designed kibble makes it easier for the pug, with its round head, very short snout, and slight overbite, to eat and encourages intensive chewing.

Skin health
Fish oil, vitamin A, borage oil, chelated zinc, and a skin complex strengthen the skin's barrier function.

Ideal weight
Highly digestible L.I.P. proteins and an increased L-carnitine content help maintain the ideal weight.
