Hi, 1. I would recommend Eversweet wireless or as it is written on the petkit site Eversweet Pro it is much safer there is no electrical wires submersed in the water like eversweet 2 and 3 and also you could connect it to your phone to know if there is problem with the fountain and to know how much your pet drinks. I think it's exactly the same price of Eversweet 3. 2. It should be safe because the pump work without lubricant (I'm not sure), and if the company uses one it should be consumable for the pet.

Hello, it has no battery and therefore always needs the power cable. The docking station is only used to remove the tank for cleaning without always having to remove the power cable. What you can still set up with a double click is the continuous operation or interval of the water flow

You probably just need to descale the pump. Disassemble everything completely and soak it in vinegar for a few hours. The app describes how to take the pump apart. If that doesn't help, you can also buy a new pump separately ;)

Unfortunately, it is similar with our device. If I only want to use battery operation, there is an error message. In addition, the water jet was very visible at the beginning. Now it's just a trickle and the water barely circulates (with cable and batteries). At first I was happy about the purchase. Our cat no longer pays any attention to the fountain. The value for money is not there, which is why I advise against buying this product (despite an initially very good rating).

Helpful answer

1: I have 2 cats living indoors. I change the filter once a month as recommended by the manufacturer. 2: I clean the fountain surfaces once a month when I change the filter.

I use this without electricity, so just with batteries. Water then runs with pauses (2 min or so; the worse the batteries are, the longer the pauses). But you also have to choose the programme with the button, I think it doesn't work for everyone.

Well, I also have two piles of fur and a 3L well.... But it actually lasts forever. The 1.3L should easily be enough for a weekend. Especially in the non-summer season.

Hello I haven't had this problem yet, but according to the operating instructions, here are a few sources of error. Is the upper part correctly seated on the lower power supply unit and does it make good contact? Is the upper shell correctly seated on the pump outlet? Is the passage of the upper shell correctly screwed? Is the mains cable correctly inserted in the bottom of the plate? Last but not least, maybe disconnect the power cable and remove the batteries. If all else fails, contact the customer service. Good luck

Yes, but it only runs in economy mode. Battery change is necessary about every 3 weeks. We have tried pretty much all the fountains as our 'engineer' cat gets them all open and takes them apart. Best fountain with great quality and very quiet, can only recommend; like all Petkit products.
