Maxi Junior is a protein-reduced, wheat-free growth food (24% protein) with a moderate energy content designed for the rearing of large breeds (from 25 kg final weight), where a high growth rate must be avoided due to potential cartilage and joint problems. Shellfish extracts support the cartilage and joint development of the young dog. The use of colostrum strengthens the immune system, as does the specific immune complex made from mannans and glucans (developed by veterinarians).

The shape and size of the kibble are tailored to the feeding behavior of large breeds.
