What happens when you unplug the switched on panels and plug them back in? Plan to connect the panels to the light switch.

I have to say, I observe partly different behaviour. I think what @DavidLim writes would be the intended behaviour. However, every now and then I have problems with the Nanoleafs "hanging up" and no longer reacting. Sometimes I can no longer control them or switch them on/off via the app. However, I think this is a solvable software problem and Nanoleaf is aware that the software is still pretty poor

at the moment.

Personally, I would rather advise against operating the panels via a light switch. Instead, I would wait until IFTTT integration is available (should be coming soon). There are also plans for motion sensors and music controls and an external remote control. That could be exciting.

For me, it certainly takes a good minute for the part to change from bright white to the "set" colour ...

When Aurora is on and you unplug it and plug it back in, everything comes on in white. Then it goes for a few seconds and Aurora goes back to the last mode, for example everything in red or whatever the KD had set.

This will not satisfy you. As David Lim has already written, the panels start up with white colour and take a long moment - almost a minute - to return to the last pattern. But that's no problem - the system has its own switch, you just have to mount it in an easily accessible place. For example, next to your light switch, haha.

Can these panels also be controlled via Logitech Harmony?
(Like Philips Hue)
