Well, I have already set up many Hue lamps using a bridge - now I would like to set up two Aurelle in the garage with the small motion sensor - my WLAN in the garage is not so great - so the question is whether I can also set up the sensor using Bluetooth or this only works with the assigned switch in the Hue Bluetooth app or the sensor and the lamps only work using a bridge and integration into the overall system? Thanks for the feedback. Best regards Fredy
Switch and lamp communicate neither via Bluetooth nor via WLAN but via Zigbee. Either directly with each other or via bridge. Bluetooth is only there so that it can be operated with the smartphone without a bridge and so that the set-up is easier. Existing hue lamps (if powered) extend the range. Therefore I would try it via bridge. Good luck
