Question about myStrom WiFi Bulb
Regarding Wi-Fi: does the light also not turn on via conventional light switch when the Wi-Fi is off? Or do the fancy special effects simply not work?
If a conventional switch is used, the bulb must be switched on. Works like a bedside lamp with a cable switch. .... one is OFF then nothing works ... a matter of getting used to
The conventional light switches always work, regardless of Wi-Fi. However, to operate the light switches via the app, an internet connection is required. Think of it as communication between a light bulb and a smartphone; there must be a channel somewhere ;-)
