Yes, there is a USB Micro B port to which you can connect a USB cable (warning: USB Micro B!).
Yes, you can connect the LED strip directly to the power supply using a mobile power adapter.
Unfortunately I can't answer that as I was looking for an LED strip with batteries.
I have not tried to connect it directly.
