Question about Philips Hue Fugato Base BT
do I absolutely need the hue Bridge for this product ? or does the hue dimmer switch 2021 also work without the hue Bridge ? and does this product need a dimmer or can I just use it with a normal light switch in the room? light switch in the room ?
You can control the lamp via the Bluetooth app without a bridge. For the dimmer switch, however, you need the bridge, as the switch communicates via the bridge. If you hang it on a normal light switch, it simply goes on or off, nothing more.
You can also use it normally and buy the switch separately.
You only need the bridge if you want to connect it to the Ap. I don't know about the brand new ones, but you don't need a bridge for the connection. hope that helped you.
