As far as I have read, the strips cannot be dimmed via the dimmer switch (only via the smartphone). But can the strips be switched on and off with the dimmer switch?

Yes, the bridge is also included in the set. Kl tip: ikea now also has coloured lights in its range that are a little cheaper. I've been having a lot of fun with the system for a fortnight now.
